The Longmont Theater is available for rental on a first-come, first-serve basis, when the theater is not already in use for our stage productions.

  • Seating for almost 300 patrons
  • A stage of 1139 square feet
  • Two stage thrusts, left and right, of 100 square feet each
  • An orchestra pit below the stage
  • Professional lighting and sound systems, including robotic lamps and spotlights

  • A dock, accessible from the street, for loading and set construction

Cost Structure

For Friday through Sunday rentals...
For Profit Events/Agencies $475 for first five hours in a 36 hour period.
$75 per hour or partial hour after that		 One performance
For Non-profit Events/Agencies $275 for first five hours in a 36 hour period.
$55 per hour or partial hour after that		 One performance
For Monday through Thursday rentals...
For Profit Events/Agencies $325 for first five hours in a 36 hour period.
$45 per hour or partial hour after that		 One performance
For Non-profit Events/Agencies $125 for first five hours in a 36 hour period.
$25 per hour or partial hour after that		 One performance

Marque Display Free display on the marquee Up to 48 hours before base rental period
$10 / day More than 48 hours before the event
Pit Cover $50 for each removal or installation of the orchestra pit cover required for the event. One week's notice required.
LTC Representative $12.50/hour while tenant is present in facilities. Representative answers questions, deals with issues as they arise. Required with each rental. Can double as the technical manager.
Light / sound / stage technicians $12.50/hour/person while working for the tenant. Optional, but the tenant may only operate the house lights and standard work lights without the technicians. If technicians are used, a technical manager is required.

If Tenant requires any additional lighting or special sound system use, it must hire Landlord's technicians to set up and operate the required systems. The sound technician and lightning technician can be one person, if the technical requirements can be easily handled by one person. The Landlord retains the final right to determine the technical demands of the Tenant's production for purposes of allocating costs under this provision.

Concession stand The Landlord may run the concession stand during the event, and retain all profits.
