Right in front of the theater, on the south-bound side of Main Street, we block off a couple of parking spots for "stop and drop". You can let your passengers out, and then go park the car. Sorry -- we do not offer valet parking.

There is usually plenty of parking near the Longmont Theater, if you know where to look. Here are some options.

  • [Map] Along Main Street, there is parallel parking between 3rd and 6th Avenues. Be aware that there are no left turns at 4th or 5th avenue in either direction.
  • [Map] On 5th Avenue, south of the theater and west of Main Street, there is diagonal parking.
  • [Map] West of the theater, on Coffman, between 5th and 6th Avenues, there is parking in the lot behind the theater, and on the street. Please avoid using the church parking lot.
  • [Map] Behind Mike O'Shay's and Pumphouse Brewery (east of Main Street), on Kimbark Street, there is a free parking lot and parallel parking on the street.

Sometimes, when other events are taking place in downtown Longmont, parking can be tricky. Here are some events that we know about. Plan ahead to allow extra time for parking.

  • Artwalk The third Friday evening in May, July, and September. Main Street will be busy, and some side streets will be closed. Coffman and Kimbark will be open, but parking will be very scarce.
  • Longmont Street Festival A Friday evening in mid August. Main Street will be closed, and surrounding parking areas will be very full.
  • Parade of Lights an early Saturday in December. Main Street and Coffman, between 3rd and 8th, will be closed for the Holiday parade. Parking will be impossible. Come very early, park behind the Pumphouse or Mike O'Shays, on Kimbark, and enjoy a leisurely dinner at one of the many restaurants before coming to the show.
