Shakeshop - Actor's Workshop - Winter 2008 Semester SessionsLearn how to think like an actor! During the school year, A Taste of Shakespeare sponsors a series of workshops. These workshops are aimed at theater lovers of all experience levels, from ages 13 and up. This is a fun experience of performing Shakespeare (and other authors) to an accepting audience of fellow actors. The cost of the workshop is FREE to all actors. The general format is this: You perform your piece. It usually will be a Shakespearian monologue or sonnet or something like that. It does not have to be memorized. Our world-renowned theatrical teachers will provide feedback, and you give it another go! All this in front of a supportive audience of fellow thespians. These sessions run long! People often bring snacks to share. If you do, the folks will want to feed for many hours.
