Shakeshop - Actor's Workshop - Winter 2008 Semester Sessions

Learn how to think like an actor!

During the school year, A Taste of Shakespeare sponsors a series of workshops. These workshops are aimed at theater lovers of all experience levels, from ages 13 and up. This is a fun experience of performing Shakespeare (and other authors) to an accepting audience of fellow actors. The cost of the workshop is FREE to all actors.

The general format is this: You perform your piece. It usually will be a Shakespearian monologue or sonnet or something like that. It does not have to be memorized. Our world-renowned theatrical teachers will provide feedback, and you give it another go! All this in front of a supportive audience of fellow thespians.

These sessions run long! People often bring snacks to share. If you do, the folks will want to feed for many hours.

Where

Most workshops will be at 7306 Island Circle (Steph's house), Boulder CO (MAP)

The May workshop is at the Rose Garden in Roosevelt Park, Longmont. [MAP]. In case of bad weather, the event will be moved to the Longmont Theater, 513 Main Street, Longmont CO.
